Lara Green, Patient Advocate

Hello! I’m Lara Green, a Physician Assistant with over 20 years of clinical experience and a Board Certified Patient Advocate.

Throughout my career in medicine, I cared deeply about my patients — but I often left the exam room wondering: Will they remember everything we discussed? Will they feel confident about their next steps?

Even after repeating instructions, writing things down, and encouraging questions, I knew how easy it was for patients to walk away overwhelmed. Papers get lost. Details blur. Medical language can feel heavy. And rushed visits don’t always leave space for clarity.

At the same time, I was walking alongside my own parents as they navigated aging and healthcare decisions. I saw firsthand how easy it was to forget what the doctor said, misunderstand instructions, or feel unsure about what to do next.

I realized that what patients and families often need most is not just medical information — but time, clarity, support, and someone steady beside them.

That is what led me to become a Board Certified Patient Advocate and create Better Together Patient Advocacy.

Today, I work with patients and families in a way that feels deeply aligned with who I am — unrushed, thoughtful, and focused on reducing stress and confusion. My goal is to lower medical risk by improving understanding, strengthening communication, and helping you move forward with confidence.

Healthcare can feel overwhelming. You don’t have to navigate it alone.

We are better together.
